My Story

My Path to Coaching

I’m Magda Kufrej. I founded Work Ally to empower mission-driven professionals to redesign their careers with clarity, courage, and confidence.

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked across journalism, EU institutions, consulting, and climate-tech startups—navigating high-pressure, high-impact environments. But I also know what it’s like to reach a point where outward success no longer feels fulfilling.

This experience led me to coaching—and it’s why I’m deeply committed to helping others realign their work with what truly matters.

Today, I am an EMCC-accredited career coach, trainer and speaker. I’ve coached over 100 professionals and trained more than 3,500 participants in career workshops.

Nothing has ever felt more fulfilling than watching them reclaim their agency and confidence to pursue meaningful careers.
